A Unique Cornish Setting
Kerthen Gar is perfectly positioned as the gateway to West Cornwall, whether that's by van, car or bike. It feels more like a private nature reserve than a campsite. Set in 8 acres, the 10 pitches are surrounded by a variety of native, deciduous trees, interspersed with open grass and wildflower glade areas.
We often see roe deer, rabbits, foxes, jays, red kites and a host of other wildlife. It's the perfect spot for nature lovers and wildlife photography.
Fires are permitted in the communal fire pit area, and raised fire bowls are welcome near pitches. A charcoal BBQ is available for guests to use and firewood is available to buy.

Sustainable Camping
Kerthen Gar is a certified campsite and a member of The Greener Camping Club (G.C.C)
At least one member of the party must be a member of The G.C.C to book our campsite.
If you're not a member don't worry as this can be taken at time of booking.
Membership for G.C.C costs just £12 for the year and gives you access to all their campsites across the UK.
